About us…
 
Bliss has bred fine performance sport horses for 27 years.  The breeds she has concentrated on are Dutch, Oldenburg, and Hanoverian horses. Beginning breeding horses in Genoa, Nevada, when she married John they moved into Zephyr Ranch in the Spanish Fork/Salem area of Utah. This last move to year-around fine weather brought them to the Flying B Ranch 22 miles north of Prescott, Arizona, in the beautiful Williamson Valley. 
 
They have an indoor riding arena where the horses live on one side and they live on the other.  Animal lovers, they have a total of four dogs on the property, two are Irish Wolfhounds, a couple cats and a cage full of lovebirds.  On 800 acres of pinons and junipers, rolling hills, and distant views, the horses are ridden or driven out on the trails each day, or trained in the arenas for dressage, jumping, and driving.
 
Both Bliss and John discovered driving about twelve years ago and love it!  Bliss competes in Combined Driving Events with John riding on the back of the carriage as navigator.  His job is to keep the carriage on course and from rolling over! 
 
Foreman Tito also lives on the ranch with his family.  He has been with us since the beginning eleven years ago, shoes and cares for the horses as well as rides and trains, especially the young horses.  He began his career with horses as a jockey, then started them for the track.
 
Mary Morris is our trainer for riding.  Her background is in Dressage and Combined Training.  She studied dressage in Germany each summer during high school and college.
